NM's fanart thread?

Uh...so I guess, since we have a whole fanart/graphics board, the artists make individual threads for themselves?
I don't know, it's been ages since I've been on legit forum like this!

But anyway, here's what I've got "finished", meaning more or less as complete as they will get:

EDIT: Oh yeah, I also am the one behind the Ask Razer And Ilana askblog on tumblr, so if you guys want I can post up the answers I've done so far for that as well.

It's all so lovely! Some of it I saw on Tumblr before and some of it I haven't.
Ow, my heart for the Ilana and Razer ones. BABIES.
Aya could not get cuter sneaking off with Razer's helmet, oh my goodness.
Of course I am dying from laughter at Papa Hal! I love that he's not even FACING Razer. He just looks so nonchalant as he goes all python arms on the poor guy.
Razer should look into dressing in blue. It's a good color for him.

((And yeah, just keep your own thread. It's prolly way easier than trying to do it another way, like fanart by character? I don't have those kind of organization skills. Lol, I'm not going to go into a nosedive as an admin, who would think such a thing?))

(I've only really been on two other fandom-centric forums (fora?). One of them just had a big old thread for fanart where people just posted whatever whenever and it was kind of chaotic and conversations was every which way and hard to follow. The other had a separate board like this where each artist started their own thread for their own art and people commented and the artists posted art until the thread post limit was hit, then they made a new one.)

Haha, that's what this opening start-up period is for, I guess. I figure everything will probably get figured out pretty fast as to what works best around here.

Have a Black Lantern!Ilana. Someone on /co/ mentioned they hadn't seen anyone draw her as a Black Lantern (which I have, twice, once in a doodle and once in one of my askblog answers) so I made a nicer version of the aforementioned doodle design and colored it in.

So looking up info on the Black Lantern Corps and apparently they can see an individual’s emotional spectrum? Thought that would make for an interesting point if certain individuals do end up as Black Lanterns.

Messed around with it a bit so it doesn’t look exactly like it apparently does in the comics.



Anyway, I’m imagining that after this she gives in to the ring fully and attacks them or something.

Ah, she looks so scary and cool! I love how clean they both are, especially the second one with the lineartless coloring. The color spectrum panel is fantastic.

I want this now. In an episode. Or a fanfic. Or a full comic. It must be in my life forever and ever.

Thank you! Besides a fic I'm typing up inspired by a prompt on the GLTAS anon meme on LJ, I have a small bit of something rolling around in my brain based on this Black Lantern!Ilana idea. Whether I write or illustrate it remains to be seen.

Omfg, yes. Please. YES. PLEASE. Do something, anything! I wish I could make a video with some Black Lantern!Ilana but uh, yeah, kind of lacking in the necessary clips for that one.
